who can answer this A teacher spent $64 buying two types of games. One type cost $12 each and the others $14 each. How many of the $12 games did she buy?

make a system of equations let x= game1 and y=game 2 then 12(x)+14(y)=64 then x+y=total number of games.. I think there is something missing in your problem ?
Three $12 games cost $36. The remaining amount of $28 will buy two $14 games. So a possible answer is three $12 games.
No i wasn't missing anything I double checked the question, and thanks for the answers so far, helps alot.
