Additive inverse is what you add to the number to get zero. So the additive inverse is 36, because 36 + (-36) = 0. Multiplicative inverse is what you mulitply a number by to get 1. So the multiplicative inverse is -(1/36), since (- (1/36)) x (-36) = 1
