M = T - R for T Solve for variable (?)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

add R to both sides...what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r + m = t

OpenStudy (amorfide):

M = T - R Solve for Variable T this means you want an equation which say T = .... to do this you need to move everything to the opposite side of T On the left side we have a positive M on the right side we have a Positive T and a negative R the T is in the right place so we just need to move the negative R onto the left side to do this we need to eliminate it on the right side to do this we do the opposite to the sign infront of R we have a negative R so we have to add R but if we are adding R onto the right side we have to do the same on the left side so we get M+R= T-R+R the -R+R cancel out this gives M+R=T
