OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=\sqrt{x-2}\times \sqrt{x+2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all R EXCEPT 2 and -2

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

no

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

it cant be less than -2 for the second equation and it cant be less then 2 for the first, since -2 , 2 the 2 wins out, thus it cant be less than 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

which part of these are you having a problem with? we cant devide by 0 and we cant take square roots of negative numbers, so make sure you are shecking for these things. I dont know if you are doing logs yes but we cant take logs of negative numbers also. these are the main things we need to look for when solving domain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand it, but if between roots is + How to solve in this case?

OpenStudy (tyteen4a03):

Hint: \(\sqrt{ab} = \sqrt{a} * \sqrt{b}\).
