Which describes how the Second Industrial Revolution changed the family structure? Husbands and wives often worked together in the same industry, leaving children to manage the homes. Families no longer worked together on farms, and all family members had to seek industrial work to support the family. Wives began to work outside the home, leaving husbands to take on both the agricultural and domestic tasks. Families began to work together on agricultural tasks as a result of the technological improvements that took place.
