Cronus was a god of what? And how is he depicted in art?

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

Cronus was the god of Time i believe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Time, I believe. Also he ruled the universe between his father Uranus and his son Zeus. He's the Greek equivalent of Saturn. I think he's usually drawn as an old man with a sickle (looking a lot like "Father Time"), but some googling will tell you better.

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

Wasn't he the was that was overthrown be his son?

OpenStudy (geometry_hater):

Zeus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

KRONOS (or Cronus) was the Titan god of time and the ages, especially time where regarded as destructive and all-devouring. He ruled the cosmos during the so-called Golden Age, after castrating and deposing his father Ouranos (the Sky)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in grek mythology he is lisyed at teh god of time and technically he is not a god, He is a Titan, he was the father of Zues, Hades, and Posidon
