Physics 8 Online
OpenStudy (precal):

general question, do you have a recommendation for a good study book to help with the study of physics. I am taking a college level physics and it is calculus strong. I hope that makes sense

OpenStudy (ujjwal):

I would recommend University Physics 13th edition By Young and Fredman

OpenStudy (precal):

It it sold online. I am doing a self study. Just want to challenge myself....No instructor at all.....

OpenStudy (ujjwal):

I got a free copy for myself via torrent! But i got the link from a piratebay! I wonder if it's safe to share that link here!

OpenStudy (precal):

probably not, looking for a book to use as a reference book (Dummies for physics like). Calculus is not my issue......

OpenStudy (ujjwal):

That is the best book i can suggest! And it is even suggested by MIT OCW as a reference book!

OpenStudy (precal):

cool I will look for it. Any good websites other than www.khanacademy.org?

OpenStudy (ujjwal):

Check MIT OCW.. The video lectures are awesome!

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

Torrents are monitored and the data saved. Mass lawsuits coming to teach even the most audacious a lesson.

OpenStudy (precal):

ok nice to know, hopefully I can come back here for help. Sorry don't know what Torrents is at all so you have me lost there. I will be happy to just buy the book or resources as needed.

OpenStudy (ujjwal):

Ok! All the best!

OpenStudy (precal):

thanks, I will need it
