If a population is growing at a continuous rate of 10% per year, then what is the annual rate of growth (as a percent)? Round your final answer to two decimal places.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

well the base population is 100%...then the increase is 10% so the annual growth would be 100% + 10% right? does that make sense to you @lucky_girl_280 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right that makes sense but i've tried 110% and it says its wrong

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

have you tried 110.00%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea doesnt work

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

this doesn't make sense. Are you sure you wrote the *exact* question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

word for word! lol

Check 9.09%, if it works I'll elaborate how I got it and what the question should have asked instead.
