The Big Bang Theory: Is the gravitational force decreasing? http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_ess_v11/ouruniverse/aou021.jpg A. galaxies move closer when the universe expands B. density of particles in space decreases when the universe expands C. gravitational force determines the distribution of matter in the universe D. gravitational force on galaxies decreases when the universe expands I think it's that the gravitational force decreases because the everything is spreading farther apart.. Is that right?

Well technically new galaxies are born everyday. Its not a stable state at all. The universe gets more and more chaotic as it expends. However, I would say b or D. maybe someone will help more!
