|dw:1347433963118:dw| let the shortest side be x hypotenuse = x+8 can u apply pythagoras theorem in that triangle?
Also area =30 so 0.5xy=30 or xy = 60. ---->(1) the 2nd equation u get from pythagoras theorem.
can u form the equation using pythagoras theorem ? @dydlf
ohhh i got it! i thought i wasn't supposed to have another variable other than x so i was hesitant at first but i got the answer! thanks for helping me verify!
welcome :)
