OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

Use Pascal’s triangle to find the number of ways to choose 4 shirts from 6 shirts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need to find the 6th row, 4th element in Pascal's triangle. Are you able to draw Pascal's triangle?

OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

Yeah i can draw it and i have a picture with up to row 13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so the find the 6th row and 4th element. Be careful though, the row with 1 on it's own is considered the 0th row, and the first 1 in every row is considered the 0th element. Let me know what you get and I'll tell you if it's correct :)

OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

Is it 20?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not quite.

OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

oh 15 then. i counted the 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Brilliant :)

OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

Thanks :) appreciate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
