How do you open the Editor on Python? The only thing that I can see is the Shell =P

I created a new notepad document saved it as ps0.py (With file type as 'all files') and it was automatically converted to a python doc. Right-clicking allowed edit with IDLE or edit with notepad. Either one works for editing. Double-clicking the file ran it in the python command line. I don't know if this is the most straightforward way, but it works. -Daniel

Or from IDLE simply File:New Window, shortcut key is Ctrl+N
