Fossil records are really good examples of evolution, IMO. I wouldn't say "prove", but they do show that the structure and location of the remains depict past events.

Natural selection is the opposite of chance.
Organisms cannot choose how to adapt.
"Greater complexity" is ill-defined and not a necessary condition.
