Fossil records are really good examples of evolution, IMO. I wouldn't say "prove", but they do show that the structure and location of the remains depict past events.

Well, here's some info to help you spot the false statements: Natural selection is the opposite of chance. Organisms cannot choose how to adapt. "Greater complexity" is ill-defined and not a necessary condition.
