2x+5/4=3/5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@MarcLeclair can u help me please?

multiply the right hand side by 4 so 12 / 5 = 2x+5 then bring the 5 over so 2x = 12/5 - 5 ( find common denominator then substract). Finally divide by 2 and voila.

Never forget, in algebra whats done on one side must be done to the other to keep the equation the same.
