OpenStudy (3psilon):

how to find total distance with a z axis?

OpenStudy (3psilon):

I'm too lazy to plug in the numbers I'm using but for instance X(t) = <A , B> And total distance traveled is C=A2+B2−−−−−−−√ How would you find such a distance with a 3rd dimension

OpenStudy (3psilon):

\[C = \sqrt{A^{2} + B^{2}}\] *******

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[d=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2+(z_2-z_1)^2}\]

OpenStudy (3psilon):

Whoa so it is just like that ? Sweet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think, im too lazy to think of overall 3 dimensional geometry
