OpenStudy (firejay5):

What's the biggest ringworm and who had it??? (I am talking about parasites)

hero (hero):

Now why would you need to know something like that?

OpenStudy (firejay5):

we talked about it during biology

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think ringworm is actually a worm ... it's a fungus. Speaking of other types of worms, guinea worms can get pretty big (up to five feet.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

byssine is right. "Ringworm" is a bit misleading. They call it "ringworm" not because it's caused by a worm, but because the rash is circular and narrow. And because of that, it looks almost like a coiled worm. Here, I'll post a picture.

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

I had ringworms when I was in the 3rd grade. It was about a size of a quarter and it itched like crazy. I took some sort of antibiotics to kill whatever that made my skin inflamed.

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Well I heard the longest ringworm was 30 feet long in the world record book
