Select three (3) coins, but assume that there are 4 dimes, 3 nickels, and 2 quarters. In how many possible ways can the selection be made so that the value of the coins is at least 25 cents?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10C3 - 3C3 - (3C2)(5C1) = 104 so you find the number of ways to choose three coins then subtract the # ways that you can get less than 25 cents. so (3 nickles) and (2 nickels and one dime)
