2x+7=15

OpenStudy (agent47):

wait dont help him

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you just having us do your whole homework

OpenStudy (anonymous):

follow the last one and do the same stuff just with these numbers

OpenStudy (agent47):

Ok, samsai, the thing is, u better be able to do this, because if u can't, there's not much point of u sticking around in school. This is not hard, just find a number, that when multiplied by 2 equals to 15 minus 7. That's all there is to it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh be nice Agent47 people don't learn by criticism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@samsai just apply the same as we did on the last one

OpenStudy (agent47):

And if u don't stick around in school, you can forget leading a normal life... All the stories about these genius school dropouts only show you one side. All of them actually worked their arses off

OpenStudy (agent47):

And takebackmath, that's the problem with education here, teachers are too tactful, too afraid to hurt other ppl's feelings... which is exactly why the dropout rates are so high. I don't get why teachers in schools are afraid of kids..

OpenStudy (agent47):

Just a friendly advice though...you're more than welcome not to listen to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh my gosh rant much?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Agent47 are you a teacher?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know how to do these problems, i just have to show my work and do 2 step equations, im in algebra 1 and my moms making me ask people to see if im right so.... yeah, btw im a girl -_-

OpenStudy (agent47):

in a way..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I am a teacher and my job is to teach math and you cant do that by telling people "its easy" (that is called belittling) and "don't hang around in school." People need help so help or go

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any way samsai

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract 7 from both sides and then divide by 2 on both sides, so what is your answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait, subtract 7 from 5 and 16 or from 54? youre confusing me O.O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look here 2x+7 = 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i was looking at a differnt problem sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x + 5 = 15 - 7 -7 subtract 7 2x = 8 - - 2 2 Divide by 2 x = 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it Thank You for your help. im in 7 grade taking Algebra 1 and is kind of hard.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bye takebackmath
