OpenStudy (lgbasallote):
nope
OpenStudy (lgbasallote):
firstly... you were right...there are 72 cubic feet <--that is the area
OpenStudy (lgbasallote):
to turn that into CUBIC yards...you divide by 9..not 3
so what is 72/9?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
8

1 yard = 3 feet
but you have square feet..so you square both sides
1 square yard = 9 square feet
make sense?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
3 feet = 1 yard
9 square feet=1 square yard

dammit, i saw the squared after the fact. almost got 100 on a quiz.... next time i suppose. thanks tho
