(2x+1)/x < 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is what I've done so far. => (2x+1) > 0 => x > -1/2 Not sure if that's right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It should actually be -1/2 < x < 0. I can't figure out how to get the 0. It is correct logically.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For this to be defined, will never be equal to 0.|dw:1347541235648:dw| This shows that x is between (-1/2,0) I hope this answer your question

Thanks! Do you have a solution that can be written using mathematical symbols (i.e not a graph)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I figured it out. I used a sign table.
