"miscellaneous" group suggestion

mathslover (mathslover):

\[\huge{\mathbb{SUGGESTION:}\space \color{blue}{\frak{Miscellaneous}}\space \color{green}{\cal{Group}}}\] Hello friends, This is a \(\large{\color{red}{\textbf{Suggestion}}}\) regarding a group for "miscellaneous" things / questions right here in openstudy... \(\large{\color{blue}{\mathbb{Explanation:}}}\) The word "miscellaneous" defines as follows: Composed of members or elements of different kinds : google So actually many questions are there that are neither related to any of the subjects that we have at present as "groups." For example: a person "XYZ" wants post a riddle or any question that is related to common sense .... none of the preferred groups reflect this kind of questions.. hence that person either posts in wrong group or just leaves which is "NOT" our aim here... Purpose: as mentioned above the group "miscellaneous" will allow users to post some miscellaneous questions.. That will solve many of the problems...

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

We believe it will create more problems than it will solve. Moderating such a group is likely to be a nightmare. Additionally, OpenStudy isn't here to answer all questions. We're here to answer knowledge questions. That would be impossible to make clear in such a group, thus the moderating disaster in waiting.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

That said, looking forward to hearing some more feedback from others.

Parth (parthkohli):

I think that the Mathematics chat just acts like a miscellaneous group :)

mathslover (mathslover):

@ParthKohli I agree but not always...

mathslover (mathslover):

For example : see the trolls /abusive comments right now in chat

Parth (parthkohli):

Ah, they'd keep going. As Shadow pointed, a miscellaneous group may be taken advantage of by medal parties, chats in posts, etcetera.

mathslover (mathslover):

I agree but... that group is also important... or will be... Not always: all confusions are related to a particular subjects

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

A misc. Group, would take the whole point of this site being a study site.

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

My opinion^
