Do my answers to these Geo essay questions sound accurate? Part 1: What is the circumcenter of a triangle? Part 2: Where is the circumcenter located in relation to the triangle? My answer: Part 1: A circumcenter is the point of concurry of the three perpendicular bisectors of the triangle. Part 2: A circumcenter is located at intersection of the perpendicular bisectors of the sides.

What are the steps used to construct a triangle circumcenter? My answer: 1)We start with a triangle ABC. 2)Find any one of the bisectors of one of the triangle sides. 3)Repeat for the another side. 4)If you so desire, you can also repeat for the third side, just to be sure that the three bisectors intersect at a single point. 5)The point where these two perpendiculars intersect is the triangle's circumcenter, the center of the circle we desire, which may in fact lie outside of the triangle. 6) Place the compass point on the intersection of the perpendiculars and set the compass width to one of the points A,B or C. Draw a circle that will pass through all three. 7) And your done! The circle drawn is the triangle's circumcircle, the only circle that will pass through all three of its vertices.

G is the incenter of Δ ABC. m∠A = 50 m∠B = 80 m∠C = 50 http://assets.openstudy.com/updates/attachments/5051e7b8e4b02b4447c149c1-renee99-1347545157240-46482585201110857pm2036647574.gif What is the m∠DAC? A. 25 B. 30 C. 35 D. 40 Okay, I said it was A, and some people agreed but one guy did the math and said the answer is 40? im not sure which is correct, because when I do it, its 25? could u clarify which one is correct for me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, i think your right, a is correct ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, thank you, I think it's because i'm so new to this, I became unsure, but thanks again! I do have one more that I was working on, u mind if I ask another one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d is right ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay! okay thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think im good for now... :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):
