Change –5x + 2y = 12 into slope-intercept form. help please:)

OpenStudy (tyteen4a03):

The Slope-intercept form is \(y=mx+c\). Firstly we change the terms around and get \(2y=5x+12\), then we need to divide every term by 2 (because the coefficient of y must be 1) and you should get \(y=\frac{5}{2}x +6\).
