Where do you might find elements and compounds in our world? What is the differents between elements and compounds?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can find elements anywhere. Everything around you is an element. An element is basically a substance, and a compound is a mixture of atoms that make one molecule of that element.

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

You can find elements anywhere, but not likely, unless you found pure gold or silver metal. Mostly everything around you is a compound. An element is a pure substance. Look at the periodic table to each specific one. An element is a monomer of a compound. A compound is made out of more than 1 element.
