thx guys
\[\left| 3x-2 \right|\ge9\]
\[3\frac{ 2 }{ 3 }\] \[-2\frac{ 1 }{ 3 }\]
thats what i got?
i feel like its wrong..
\[x \le -2\frac{ 1 }{ 3 }\] and \[x \ge 3\frac{ 2 }{ 3 }\]
|3x-2|>=9, nvm me, carroll got there first
Not a hard question @Matt6288. You shouldn't expect for everyone who comes to your question to know how to solve it. Some of the users who come to questions are also as curious as you are about how to solve the problem.
didn't mean to insult everyone i just wasnt expecting people to not know how to do it haha
thx guys
If you take the bars (sorry, dont know the name in english) it turns into that: \[3x-2\ge 9\]\[3x-2 \le -9\]\[x \ge \frac{ 11 }{ 3 }\]\[x \le -\frac{ 7 }{ 3 }\]
Users of all ages come to this site, no?
how would u graph this? just to make sure im doing that correctly..
I certainly wouldn't expect everyone here to be able to solve Calculus-level questions for example
i get it. mine clearly isnt a calculus question but im sure if it was it would take longer to be answered im just surprised the amount of people on here couldnt solve mine?.. but anyway i apologize.
Once again, you're assuming that just because someone didn't "respond", that means they didn't know how to solve it.
haha well if they knew the answer why wouldnt they help..?
The answer to that question is more complicated than you think. I think you should consult a moderator for a more detailed explanation to that question.
do u know how to graph this?
Yes, I do actually
can u draw it for me just so im clear on how to answer this question with a graph
I'm curious as to what exactly is the difficultly that prevents you from graphing it yourself.
well their are 30 question and as im constantly answering them and graphing i keep questioning myself to whether im graphing them right or wrong.
So suppose you had to graph x < 3, for example. Would you be able to do it?

rite?
Okay, so what is preventing you from doing that with the fractions?
its just looks unusual? so for my question id write.
Did you see my answer? Because I believe yours is wrong
