How do you do this FINDING OPPOSITES AND ABSOLUTE VALUES For the given value do a find -a and |a|. 1. a=-3 2. a=-0 3.a= 2.7 4.a= -7.9 5.a= -5/6 6.a= 1 1/3

the absolute value is how far away that number is from zero. so for number 1, -3 is 3 places away from zero. so the absolute value of -3 is 3. using number 1 again, to get -a, you negate the number. when you negate a negative number it becomes positive.
