State the solpe and y - intercept of the graph of each equation. 18.) cx + y = d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

general equation of a line is \[y = mx +b\] where \[m\] is the slope and \[b\] is the y-intercept. we must first arrange your given equation to agree with the general equation of a line, so from \[18.cx + y = d\] transfer 18.cx to the right side, we have, \[y = -18.cx + d\] I assume the c in your equation is constant. so, what could be m and y-intercept?

OpenStudy (firejay5):

18 isn't in the equation

OpenStudy (firejay5):

18 is the question number

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@hbaldon 18 is the question number not in the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha. my bad. should have placed space after 18.. :) so yeah, the answer is still the same, only that 18. is removed. y = -cx+d

OpenStudy (firejay5):

my bad too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, what's the answer?
