OpenStudy (charlotte123):

Noah wants to improve his endurance because he is leaving for military boot camp in a month. He works out at the local gym a few days each week and does a variety of activities, but still feels like his cardiovascular fitness is not great. What would be the best thing for Noah to do next? Begin a program of rigorous distance running immediately. This is the best way to increase endurance fast. Continue with his activities, but implement a high protein diet to supplement his quest to improve his cardiovascular fitness.

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

Last choice: Reevaluate his workout to see if he needs to add more aerobic exercise or adjust the frequency of his workouts. Lol didnt have enough space :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so I think its the first one or the last one lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you want to improve your endurance you run more so

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

now Im confuzeled XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you run more to improve your endureance

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

hm....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so which one involves more running

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

A does :O

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

but it looks like D 2 :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ikr :(

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

hm....well I will see if anyone else can see which one is better XD thanks for the help :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its the last one

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

So do I but I cant take any chances XD

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

B? XD u know this but how? :O

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

OMG I FORGOT ONE CHOICE! :O

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

here it is :P Increase the frequency of his weightlifting program. He will need to be strong for boot camp.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u cant just run like that. it will mess u up.....hmmmm um.....idk now. i think c cuz i might be better. but not a at all

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

thanks :D so u think Reevaluate his workout to see if he needs to add more aerobic exercise or adjust the frequency of his workouts. ? :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummmmmm reavaluate.

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

But when it says endurance I think its taking about muscular fitness no? :P

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

wait brb :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no how long u can push ur self

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

how about u answer this one? :P its much easier XD

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

Tammy is a runner that moves from Florida to Colorado. Moving to a higher elevation, Tammy's body must adapt to air with less overall oxygen. In this context, the term "adapt" refers to adjusting to new conditions. accepting a situation as one's own. reaching easily. making less severe.

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

oops wrong one :P heres the right one: Tim's doctor says his strength and endurance are excellent, but he's worried about Tim's cardiovascular health. The doctor asks Tim to list several activities he enjoys. Tim states, "weightlifting, baseball, racquetball, and bowling." Which physical activity should Tim's doctor encourage him to participate in more often? weightlifting baseball racquetball bowling

OpenStudy (anonymous):

weightliftin or baseball

OpenStudy (anonymous):

char?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first question.... it depends on the type of endurance he is trying to develop. For muscular endurance he should implements a Tabatta style weight routine. If he wants to run further fast he should do the distance running. A high protein diet would benefit in both situations. Tim should participate in raquetball or basketball for ofter to increase his cardiovascular health because they both involve a lots of running....i.e. increased heart rate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jeeez show me up then lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I study this kind of stuff... :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oooo ok makes sense. lol
