If C = {integers divisible by 2 from 1 to 20} and D = {integers divisible by 6 from 1 to 25}, what is C ∩ D?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

find the elements in C that are also in D...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it whats in common or all of them together ?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well C= { 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20} and D = {6, 12, 18, 24} the common elements are the intersection...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is just {6, 12, 18, 24} then right ?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

not 24 as its not in set C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh alright so its 6 12 18

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

yep... use the correct notation and its all perfect..

OpenStudy (anonymous):
