\[0.304 = \frac{304 }{ 1000 }\] \[1.2 = \frac{ 12 }{10 }\] So, \[0.304 \times 1.2000 = \frac{ 304 }{ 1000 } \times \frac{ 12 }{ 10 } = \frac{ 3648 }{ 10000} = 0.3648\]
