\[ 2(x-3y)^2 + 4x(x-3y)\]

What IS factoring? You have 2 things, A and B\[(A)+(B)\]Both A and B have a variable (like x, y or z) or a number in common. \[(3xa)+(3xb)=3x(a+b)\]Take tat common thing out of each term by putting it outside the bracket (as when it multiplies out, it gives you the original value. What things in common does this equation have (hint: don't expand the brackets first)
