first divide the equation by 9
then use this theorem \[ \large |a|=b\Leftrightarrow\begin{cases} b\geq0\\\text{and}\\ a=\pm b \end{cases} \]
solve these two equatios : (2/9)x+1/3= 9-8x and (2/9)x+1/3=-9+8x
