What is the energy conversion that occurs in cellular respiration? Chemical energy in glucose is converted to light energy. Light energy is converted to chemical energy in glucose. Energy in glucose is converted to packets of stored energy in the organism. Packets of stored energy are converted to chemical energy in glucose.
