what is the order of √5,-0.1,(-5/3),0.7, √2 from least to greatest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know that the negatives are the smallest but which one? since 5/3 is an improper you know it would have a whole number first -5/3 = -1 2/3. Since that is a larger number and is negative it is actually the lease amount. So, -5/3, -0.1. then worry about the positive numbers. what would be next in your opinion?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-0.1,0.7 am i on the right track?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes then what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

√2, √5,(-5/3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-5/3 should be first that is the smallest and then follow with what we discussed.
