Your parents have given you an allowance of $20 each week. Your monthly expenses include these categories: clothing gas entertainment (movies, dates, restaurants, etc.) savings Develop a monthly budget for yourself and explain why you chose the amounts you did for each category.
Hmm...I guess there's no right or wrong answer for this one. Just use reasonable values. For example, 0 for savings is not such a good idea :)
you get 80 a month..put about 25 away for gas..that gives you 55..do 15 for clothes..(at second hand shops you can buy alot with 15) then that gives you 40 do 20 for entertainment..and 20 for savings :p
^ explain why you chose the amounts you did for each category.? :D
i chose these amounts as an estimate...25 for gas..give or take..depends how often you use the car and where you go..ermm...15 for clothes because there might be something you need or like....but you wont really go EVERY month..so give or take again....i say 20 for entertainment..because if you go to the movies..you buy a ticket..you still have enough for drinks and snacks..or not..so give or take there..or for an hour of bowling you could do..(in some places) or you might want to take someone with you to the movies...or redbox movie night with pizza..so give or take there...ermmm...20 for savings...is just an estimate as well...but it makes for a good foundation to keep a balanced view of money...you put aside so much money or w/e...and on those rare occasions you might have to dip into your savings..simply for bigger gatherings..and you can always go to the dollar store for candy, decorations, ect.. xD hope this helped? hahahaha
thanks so much!
no problemo xD
