old puzzle but still.... An old man had an habit of collecting elephants. He had 3 sons and a wife in his family. He wrote in his will that when he dies half of the elephants must go to his wife, one-fourth of elephants to his eldest son, one-sixth of elephants to his youngest son and remaining elephants to the middle son. When he died,he had 23 elephants his lawyer came and was in dilemma on how to distribute the elephants(because he cannot distribute elephants in fraction of 23.)Still that lawyer manged to give everyone of the family a fair share of elephants. How did the lawyer solve this?
