ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

what do u think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know honestly.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

therez a easy way to test if a polygon is concave

OpenStudy (aripotta):

to remember what concave means think of something caving in. based on that, which polygon looks caved in?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

if you could draw a segement whose endpoints lie within in the polygon, but the segment goes outside of polugon, then its a concave polygon.

Is it polygon 2 then?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

yes

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

yes and no. polygon1 is concave too

OpenStudy (aripotta):

oh crap, realleh

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

:)

OpenStudy (aripotta):

oh right, i remember my teacher told me that all irregular polygons are concave...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? How are all irregular polygons concave?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

not all irregular polygons are concave

I hope his teacher didn't really say that then!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
