OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

Select the inequality that corresponds to the given graph.

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

4x - 3y > - 12 x + 4y > 4 4x - 2y < - 8 2x + 4y >/= - 16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First of all, you know it's a dotted line so it can't be the 4th.

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

alright..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now you can graph the 3 first equations to see which one it could be OR you can isolate your y's to see which ones match the shading(If y is less than than it shades down) OR you use algebra to find coordinates to see which one it could be.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd go for the first option though.

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

Solve for y in each of the top 3 inequalitys and see which one has the corresponding y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually, you can take the second equation out since the y is greater than, you don't need to isolate, sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and you can take the third one out as well since the y positive is greater than

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the first equation is the only one it could be.
