When the army offers $26,000 yearly pay, 100,000 applicants volunteer to supply their services. When it raises the yearly pay to $25,000, it gets 110,000 willing suppliers. Yearly pay of $26,000 yields 120,000 applicants and yearly pay of $27,000 produces 130,000 applicants. Set up and write down a linear equation that gives the quantity of willing suppliers as a function of the yearly pay the army offers.
