What is the end behavior of x^-4 as x approaches +/- infinity? How does that negative exponent affect everything?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's positive anyways.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As x approaches +infinity, y approaches + infinity as well I think As x approaches -infinity, y approaches - infinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer in the book says f(x) is 0 as x +/- infinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^-4 = 1/x^4 x-> ± ∞, since exponent of x is even => ( ± ∞ ) ^4 = ∞ Thus =1/∞ = 0

So, what do notice about negative exponent now?
