I'm a little weak on stats... but \[z=\frac{x-50}{10}\]
look up .2 in a z table... the closest I get is 0.2005 is z=-.08
\[-.8=\frac{x-50}{10}\]so x=42 dB and below.
But, as I said... this is a weak subject for me.
That's fine I will test it out thank you for the help though. I have been stuck on this stuff for a while but now I have a better idea on it.
