does friction exist in space?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, of course it does. But for air friction, it's negligible.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if i fly in space and want to press a button do i need to press it in a specific angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for button it IS NOT air friction. It work just like friction here in the world. If you play gameboy in space, press it the way you like without thinking what angle your finger made with button surface :D

OpenStudy (dls):

no

OpenStudy (ghazi):

there is no air resistance in space, so basically no friction between object and surrounding ....but friction between two object do exists ....
