the perimeter of a rectangle is 46 feet. The width is 3ft less than twice the length. Find the length and width of the rectangle.

a simple way to check that is to see if the width is indeed twice the length minus 3.
width is 10 and length is 13 according to your answer.
twice the length is 2 times 13 = 26. 26 minus 3 is 23. which is not the width you got. therefore your answer is wrong.
