CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?? emmanuel kicks a soccer ball off the ground and in the air with an initial velocity of 33 feet per second. using the formula H(t)=-16t2+vt+s, what is the maximum height to the nearest tenth of a foot the soccer ball reaches?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is a quadratic formula so you need to find the maximum value or vertex

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so find the x value of the vertex with \[\frac{ -b }{ 2a}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then substitute the value you get and solve and you will have the maximum height it reaches, the y is the height
