the last one its plural saying in literal translation the dads are and it has the word impatient in plural form

Since los padres is plural, you must select the plural adjective.
Also... 'los padres' also can mean (and I'm guessing that it does in this sentence) 'the parents'. But yeah, it has to be the plural verb to mach with the plural subject.
