if the first term in geometric sequence is 7 and the third term is 63, what is ninth term?

i'm not quite sure how to explain how i got it. i pretty much just guessed. i knew i had to get from 7 to n (mystery 2nd term) to 63. so i decided to multiply 7 and 3, to get 21. and then i multiplied 21 and 3 to get 63. so, i knew i was right, and kept going to get the ninth term.

oh wait. 1701 is the fifth term. :/ this is the ninth: 137781. sorry :/
