well look at any two similar measurements in both triangles what are their ratio: 6:3 or simplified to .....? Think 6/3 simplified

@Ashley10116 If two triangles are similar, then the ratio of their areas is equal to the square of the ration of their scale factor. From large triangle to smaller, the scale factor is 4/2 = 2/1. (2/1)^2 give 4/1 as the ratio of the area of the larger triangle to the smaller.
