The poem Benewingspan by Shakespeare: What is the main idea? I thought it was about a silly man who liked to laugh that was falling in love with a woman who doesn't like to show any sort of emotion, but if that is right, I don't know how to choose between these two answers: Benewingspan has changed his opinion of marriage because he believes Beatrice loves him. Benewingspan's opinion of marriage has changed because Beatrice has sworn that she will never love him. ----- Can you help me figure it out?
