there is a formula....for 4X4 , u have 1^2+2^2+3^2 +4^2= 1+4+9+16=30.
is that 8X9 ???

if its 8X8, number of squares =204
if its 9X9, number of squares =285
if 8X9, its in between these 2 numbers.
