The two carriers 40mhz and 80mhz respectively are frequency modulated by a signal of frequency 4khz,such that the bandwidths of the FM signal in the two cases are same.The peak frequency deviation in the two cases are in the ratio of? can anyone help me out with the solution?

In FM most of the energy of the signal is contained within fc ± fm.Since in your problem message signal is of same frequency in both cases so frequency deviation would be same for both cases.
